What is a Path of Exile map regex?
A map regex is a search string you paste into Path of Exile's stash or vendor search to filter maps by their modifiers. The search box treats the input as a regular expression against the item's text, so alternatives separated by pipes match any of several dangerous or desirable mods, and numeric patterns can enforce a minimum quantity or pack size. Regexes are commonly used to skip maps with mods a build cannot handle, such as reflected damage or no life regeneration, and to spot high-quantity maps quickly while the search box's character limit keeps the pattern short.

Tokens are AND-ed: an item must match every required mod and none of the excluded ones. Fragments are trimmed to the fewest characters that still tell one affix apart from the others. Matching is case-insensitive.
